Alexis and Christian | Opal Key resort Key West Wedding
When Christian’s cousin introduced him to his friend Alexis, the start of a relationship was formed. Fast forwarding from there, they would eventually end up on a boat together, floating down the same river where they’d had their first date, and Christian proposed. It was only natural that between their love of the water and a love of the outdoors, that they should choose Key West for their destination wedding. This is where I met them and was able to capture their big day at the Opal Key Resort and Marina.
There’s something uniquely magical about photographing destination weddings—especially the kind where every moment is on the move, every location is handpicked by fate, and every shot is a balance of spontaneity and intention. William and Shari’s intimate elopement in Key West, Florida, was exactly that kind of experience, but with an unexpected twist — and one we won’t soon forget.
