Danielle and Will’s Old Town Manor Wedding in Key West
As Key West wedding photographers, we have the honor of documenting love stories in some of the most elegant venues on the island, but Danielle and William’s wedding at Old Town Manor was the kind of day that reminds us why we adore photographing small, intentional celebrations.
Their micro wedding was heartfelt, relaxed, and overflowing with tropical charm, everything we love about Old Town Manor weddings in the heart of Old Town Key West.

A Tropical Courtyard Ceremony at Old Town Manor
Tucked just steps off Duval Street, Old Town Manor is a historic 1886 property known for its lush private gardens, charming architecture, and intimate ambiance. As photographers for small weddings, we especially love this venue because it feels private and personal while still being right in the middle of vibrant Key West.
Warm weather, warm smiles.
Danielle and Will chose to exchange vows in the brick courtyard surrounded by swaying palms and tropical foliage. The greenery created the perfect natural backdrop, and the warm Key West light filtering through the leaves made everything glow.
Their guest list was intentionally small - just their closest family and friends - which made every moment feel meaningful. There’s something powerful about a micro wedding: every tear, every laugh, every embrace matters just a little more.
And we were there to capture it all.
Why We Love Photographing Micro Weddings in Key West
As photographers for small weddings, we’ve seen firsthand how intimate celebrations allow couples to truly be present. Danielle and Will had time to soak in the moment during their ceremony, hug every guest without feeling rushed, take portraits around the property, and truly enjoy the evening festivities.
Old Town Manor is consistently recognized as a top venue for intimate destination celebrations, offering flexible wedding packages and a romantic tropical setting ideal for gatherings under 100 guests (and perfect for micro weddings like this one).
For couples planning an intimate event, this venue checks every box:
Historic charm
Private garden courtyard
Central Old Town location
Elegant reception possibilities
Ideal setup for seated dinners or cocktail-style receptions
A Beautiful Tent Reception Under the Key West Sky
After their courtyard ceremony, Danielle and Will celebrated under a beautifully appointed tent on the property. The table rounds were thoughtfully arranged, creating a reception space that felt refined but still relaxed…very “Key West chic.”
We loved how the soft lighting under the tent paired with the surrounding greenery. As destination wedding photographers, we always look for those layered textures: twinkle lights, tropical leaves, historic architecture, and joyful faces gathered around a table.
The evening unfolded naturally:
Heartfelt toasts
Laughter echoing through the courtyard
First dances under the soft glow of reception lighting
Guests lingering long after dinner because no one wanted the night to end
It was intimate. It was elegant. It was unmistakably Key West.
What Makes Old Town Manor Weddings So Special
Having photographed weddings here before, we can confidently say that Old Town Manor weddings have a distinct feel. The property combines historic architecture, original cypress details, tropical private gardens, and immediate access to iconic Key West streets.
Being half a block from Duval Street means couples and guests can experience the full charm of Key West while still enjoying a quiet, romantic retreat.
For Danielle and Will, that meant portraits just steps from the celebration and the energy of Old Town surrounding their wedding weekend.
The diverse locations in Key West offered us a chance to capture authentic love stories in a relaxed setting, blending natural beauty with priceless moments. Every image reflected our personal approach to creating lasting memories in wedding photography, with each scene telling a story of its own.
